I tried downloading the game for my pc using an swf player program, but i had issues with that. (a user a few comments below had the same issue) so i tried downloading it for my phone. but instead i got hit in the face with it not installing for some reason
It's a generic warning message your computer will give you when downloading third party files from the internet. You will be fine. I am too stupid to program malware and don't have any intention to, my programming skills are barely enough to make a simple flash dress up game.
I can't say the same for any swf player programs you might download. Do so at your own discretion.

For everyone who cant play: Change date on your computer (that date cant be 01/12/2021!) and download old version of flash. or download SWF file player.

I really like this game, Gonta's one of my favorite characters! This is the obviously best outfit I made. :) I suppose it's not surprising I got Kokichi first try.

I had a option that said "run flash anyway" or something like that near the top-ish of my screen, when I pressed 'run game.'

have you tried right clicking the game swf file and click "open with" and then select the swf player program on the list?
or opening the swf player program and then selecting the game file over that?
